Good Vibrations!

The only thing standing between you and getting what you truly desire, in any area of your life, to have as your experience is your "vibes" and, I mean that in it's entirety.
The Beach Boys sang about it in the 60's in their song, Good Vibrations, and for almost one hundred years, Quantum Physicists have been conducting research to substantiate what has been written about since the beginning of time in one form or another that your thoughts have energy and because of this,

You Can't Have An Attitude & Keep It A Secret

We've all heard it, "You just need to get a new attitude!" or "You have such a negative attitude that nobody can stand being around you!" -and of course the one we've all been told, "You just need to be more positive."

What does an attitudinal vibe have to do with
getting what you want?
We are bodies of energy. If our heart stops, we are jolted with electrical palates to get things going again. Every cell in our body has a positive and a negative charge, making us electromagnetic.
We simply can't have an intense or focused thought and not have some form of energy behind it. The more we jazz up our energy and our emotions about certain thoughts, beliefs, prejudices and fears, the more that energy gets out into our world and gets all over the people, circumstances and situations that we are focusing on. In other words, whether we send out bad vibes or good vibes, the effects are always felt.

The art of getting what you want, therefore, lies in making mindful and deliberate choices, keeping your focus on the goal that you've decided upon, and then paying attention to what your vibes are really saying about you to the people you want things from. Then fine tune, fine tune, fine tune.

Vibrations run both ways.
We are not only on the sending side we are also receiving vibes. It's our reaction, in relationship to the vibes we are picking up on, that determines what will happen next. Whether or not each of us allows ourselves to really know what we know, and feel what we feel, is an entirely different matter. But we are, in fact, both creating and responding to a variety of energy fields around us all day long.
You are the artist of your world. The art, you see, is in your ability to script out a desired result, regardless of the present reality of a situation or relationship. Everything in your relationship to this world can be altered if only undertaken as an artist takes to the stroke of their brush.
Understand that you are participating in the results you are getting by the attitudes you hold. The attitudes carry energy: your vibes. People can tune in and know volumes about you, whether you think you are revealing anything or not.
We send fear, love, hate, prejudice, condemnation, arrogance, scarcity mentality, "gotta be the best and win at all costs," perfectionism, feeling inferior or, "never going to be enough" vibes all the time - just to name a few.
The question is, "What vibes are you sending?"
That's exactly what we will be looking at, because whatever you are getting is a reflection of what you are sending. If you don't like what you are getting, or know that it could be even better than it already is, then, let's start changing what you.re sending, attitudinally, right now.

Whatever reality you find yourself in
is capable of being altered by you at any time you want.

#1 Break Down in Communication: Attitudinal Energy
Here's a scenario I'm certain you will recognize: Sally is starting a new job, and she's introducing herself around the company. With each person she meets, she says, "Hello, I'm Sally, I'm your new team member, and I'm excited to meet you and work with you. And your name is?" They respond by giving her their name. They chat for a little bit, and then they pull her aside and whisper something like, "You'll do well here, but make sure you stay away from Paul, because he's just the most arrogant, abusive jerk on the planet." Sally continues to meet and introduce herself to people, and each of the next seven people that she meets has something negative to say or imply about Paul. Now, she comes up to the eighth person, and she gets to the part where she says,
"And your name is?" - and he responds, "My name is Paul."
Now, in that moment a message is sent by Sally, energetically.
Bad Vibes!
You know what I'm talking about, don't you?
You've experienced this.
It is a defining moment because, at that moment, we can just accept everything we've been told about this person, and he will feel a "negative energy hit" from us the second he says his name. OR, we can get amnesia, and not let ourselves believe anything about him. We can shake his hand and connect with him on a very clean level, refusing to let any of the previous information in, and allowing ourselves to meet the person himself, not the labels we've been given.
This is what I call being a TurnAround Specialist. And this is just one of the many things you are going to learn in this book, about the importance of being intentional and deliberate in our thinking. We will begin with the "labels" we.ve been putting on people and how to shift the energy behind those labels. After we clean up our individual attitudes and the vibes we send out with them, then and only then will we begin to get entirely different results. It's all about energy.
We need to dig down deep and ask ourselves for our most authentic truth, which is what we are really thinking about those people we are not having a good experience with. We need to get control of our attitudes and change them to something more conducive to what we would like to be receiving. The words and the smiles that we use are not nearly as relevant as the thoughts we think, that we hold, nurse, curse and rehearse about certain individuals, circumstances and situations that we think we have no power over.

Your Thoughts Reach Out Into Your World
Our inner attitudes and images have an energy to them. Thoughts have energy, and that energy is set in motion by an attitude. This energy in motion will instantaneously affect our relationships and the people in the world. To leave this out of the equation is to totally short-circuit your efforts.
We each have the ability to transform our thinking, and therefore our lives, our world, and our unhappy experiences. We can do it through people and thought-energy, when we go about it deliberately and with great intention to have more of what we want, and less of what we don't want.

Yes, our thoughts can literally push people, money and health away from us as easily as they can bring all of these things to us. And, once you understand what scientific research has to teach us about our energy and our "vibes," you will naturally begin to make adjustments that will immediately bring you new experiences.
The information you will be receiving here may be something you already intuitively know or have felt, but couldn't quite put your finger on, or it could all be fresh and exciting news to you. Regardless, this information can free you. On the other hand it could be scary and disconcerting to you. For the implications of this information are that we are, at the very least, truly empowered. And we are, in fact, utilizing our power every moment of every day, whether we know it or not, and whether we mean to be or not. In order for your attitude to be a most powerful agent working for you, you must continuously be willing to explore the power that you generate from the inside out.

Your Connection

Here are some examples of how our thoughts reach out into the world:

How often have you gotten this feeling or sense that somebody is looking at you?
You turn your head, and sure enough somebody is.
Have you had a thought about somebody, when the phone rings, and it's them?
Or in a marriage, one person is having an affair, and the partner has a sense of it.
Have you ever met someone who you were instantly very uncomfortable with, for no apparent reason.
Have you ever had a sense that your child was doing something they shouldn't be doing, and when you went to check on them, sure enough, you caught them red handed!
Do you have a dog that wakes up from his nap, gets off the couch and goes to the door to wait just moments before a family member arrives home?
Have you ever been on a date with someone you loved, and as you were walking down the street, a gorgeous, sexy babe approaches, and you get this visceral experience and sense that your partner has just mentally jumped out of their body, flew over to them and had the most gratuitous sex imaginable with them and then, ever so slyly, slipped back into their body, acting as if they didn't notice them in the first place!?

We think of these things as extraordinary, but in fact they are very common and available to all of us, all of the time. Most often, it's a matter of whether or not we let ourselves tune in to this experience and be aware of it. Much of what we are already experiencing frightens us, as with the love interest who jumps out of his body mentally and has his way with every beautiful woman that walks by his way.
There are things we really don't want to know, but we do in fact feel. We have a hard time feeling safe in relationships when we can intuitively feel our partners' mental indiscretions. We are left feeling like we are crazy because we literally can't prove what we just experienced, except to boldly let it be known that we are in some way psychic.
In fact, research today reveals that we are all connected, and capable of being psychic, to whatever degree we allow ourselves to know what we know and feel what we feel. When we wall off the world of energy, we also wall off our capacity to know ourselves, own our real personal power, and our connection with everyone else on an energy level.

What Scientific Research Reveals to Us

We Are Electromagnetic
Discover Magazine featured an article which included a series of electronic photographs showing the illuminated flow of electrical activity throughout the entire system of nerves and blood vessels in the human body.
Think about it: if the heart stops, modern medical practice is to apply an electric jolt to get it started again. The brain uses electricity to issue its commands from neuron to neuron. When these signals reach a muscle, they set up a wave of electricity throughout the muscle. Each cell of the body has a positive and negative charge, so there is constant polarity. Each cell has a magnetic component, which means the body is not only electric, it's magnetic. In essence, we are moving electromagnetic fields of living energy.
The human mind and body create a measurable magnetic field arising from electric charges in motion. In Dr. Deepak Chopra's Ageless Body, Timeless Mind, he explains that every cell in the body even has it's own intelligence. There is ample evidence that, at the sub-atomic level, each quantum particle/wave has an "intelligence" of its own! At the organic level of our bodies, embryonic cells "know" how to grow into higher forms of complex and distinctive systems. Each of these systems is responsive, in varying ways, to the electromagnetic energy generator of our minds.
Because the body is electrical, and each cell in the body has a positive and negative charge, we are magnetically charged in accordance with what our thoughts vibrate and transmit. Being electromagnetic sets up certain conditions for how we relate to our physical world. Energy flows out of our bodies and interacts with all other energy and matter.

An analogy that illustrates this best is to imagine that the energy flow from you is like a signal or wave-length being transmitted from a radio or television station. Each of us emits very precise signals based on what we believe and think. Everyone and everything in our environment have the capacity to pick up certain aspects of these signals. However, only those who are tuned in on the same wave length can consciously respond to them, as only those radios and television sets that are turned on and tuned in to a particular station will pick it up.
Have you ever picked up your TV remote control and randomly started flipping through the channels when something on one of the channels made you stop and watch? You were in tune, or in alignment with what was being said, and that's why you wanted to stop and listen. Or the opposite can happen, and you can be so upset by the information being presented that you turn to another channel immediately.

Understanding that the human body is electromagnetic, combined with some insight into quantum physics, will help you to see how energy affects us, and how we continuously affect our world, our reality and our connections with other people. There are many experiments that show that the mind or consciousness is not restricted to our bodies, nor is it restricted to any kind of locality.

The Power of Energy Transfer

For those readers who are having a hard time perceiving or believing what I am describing here, I have developed a demonstration which shows the effects our thoughts have on each other. You can perform this demonstration yourself, with the help of a willing friend or co-worker.
"Muscle testing" is a technique which shows us how thoughts affect us physiologically. With this method, you will see clearly that thoughts held vividly and strongly in our minds can make us physically weak or strong, depending on the content of the thoughts. I will now describe how you can "muscle test" with a friend or family member, to show you exactly how thoughts can instantaneously affect your own and another's physiology.
The basic test performed repeatedly in this experiment is the act of applying downward pressure on a person's arm as they attempt to keep it extended out to their side. With a little practice, as a "baseline," you can determine how strong the person is, and how hard you can push down on their outstretched arm before you simply overpower them. The objective is not to have a strength contest, but to detect differences in the person's strength as thoughts and conditions are varied. So you should never push hard enough to hurt the person, only enough to see if their resistance is strong or relatively weak.
To begin the testing, have the other person stand facing you with their feet about shoulder-width apart, and one arm extended out to the side, whichever is their stronger arm. Now ask that person to think a judging, critical thought about somebody, a resentful, fear or worry thought. Then ask them to resist your pushing down on their extended arm.

As you try to push it, you will find in most instances that the arm becomes significantly weaker than the "baseline" you determined earlier. Sometimes you can almost push it down with a finger or two.
Now have the person think a compassionate thought. It helps to have them recall any situation where they have felt pure compassion, no expectations of anything back in return, just a desire to be of help and to give. Again, ask them to resist your pushing down on their extended arm. In most instances, you will find that their strength has returned. Sometimes the subject's arm will become even stronger than the "baseline!"
So, what has been demonstrated here is that our thoughts have an effect on our own bodies. Just think of the implications this has for our immune systems and our health in general. In fact, there have been many experiments confirming that our thoughts and beliefs have a profound effect on preventing and healing diseases.
But what about our thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affecting other people? This can also be demonstrated using muscle testing. In order to do this, you will need two willing friends or co-workers. You will be doing the testing, one subject will be projecting thoughts, and the other subject will be tested to determine if they are "receiving" the projected thoughts.
Now, have one person stand behind the other person. The person who stands behind is going to do the thinking. The person who stands in front will extend the arm for you to test.
The person in front, the "receiver" who's arm you're testing, will be facing you, so that you can put your fingers behind them to signal to the "thinker." Using one finger or two fingers, indicate when to think 1) a negative thought, a fear thought, judging thought, an angry thought, a resentful thought, or to think 2) a compassionate thought, a trusting thought, a happy thought.
Once you give a secret signal to the person in the back as to which thought to think, you get them to acknowledge that they are now thinking it clearly by nodding their head. Then you test the arm of the person in front to see if their arm is relatively strong or weak. Try it using a variety of positive and negative thoughts, and with the subjects changing places.
I have found that, in 99% of the situations where I've tested this, the person's arm strength corresponds exactly to the thought held by the person behind them. Negative thoughts have resulted in weakness in the test subject's arm, and positive thoughts have resulted in strength. Now, I don't what to leave you with the idea that you are always at the effect of everybody else's energy, because that is not necessarily true. However, it is true when you are not centered yourself. It is true when you are thinking your own weaker or negative thoughts. It is true when you are not empowered and in your true self.
When you are centered and RESOLVED, you will not be at the effect of other people's thoughts. This can also be demonstrated using another variation of the experiment: by having the person behind think negative thoughts, while the person in front thinks compassionate thoughts.

Have the test subject breathe deeply, focusing on the solar plexus and think a compassionate thought, a trusting thought, a happy thought. Then, even though the person in back is thinking negative, unhappy thoughts, the person's arm in front will be strong despite that.
And you can prove something further, if you have each continue thinking their thoughts, the one in the back thinking negative, the one in the front thinking compassionate thoughts. After a few moments, go test the arm of the person in the back, who's having the negative thoughts. You'll find that person's arm has begun to become somewhat stronger than it usually was before, when they were just thinking negative thoughts all by themselves. The reason for this is that, with the person in front of them thinking compassionate thoughts, the energy seems to go forth to counter-act the negative thoughts and bring some strength even to that person!
How can this happen? Physicists tell us that higher energy affects lower energy, not the other way around. So love, being the strongest force in the Universe, is the strongest energy. When we unite with that energy, we affect in a positive strong way the negative, lower energy.
It's important that we understand this, because it's not as though we have a magical tool that we can use to manipulate somebody by extending loving thoughts. If we try to use it at that level, then we are in the ego state, and we are trying, and trying and trying to affect something. We're trying to change another person. That will not work. That will backfire. It's only by identifying with our greatest selves, the Love self that is the highest energy of the Universe, and owning it as our own identify and giving that forth in the generous manner characteristic of the greatest self, that we actually have a positive effect on negative thoughts and circumstances.
These experiments will prove to you the power of energy transfer. Now it's up to you to put them to use in becoming a TurnAround Specialist. You will never again be able to "cop out" and blame others for what's happening in your experience. You have seen the undeniable proof that what you are thinking affects everyone around you.

In learning this one key piece of information about how the Good Vibrations of LOVE transforms negatives into positives instantly, you have just begun to understand one important brush stroke to the Art of Getting What You Want.
